Description:
Esperanza College of Eastern University invites applications for part-time teaching opportunities for the Fall of 2008, various starting date beginning July 2008 in the following areas:
- Bible*/Theology
- Biology*
- Business
- Computer Science*
- Communications
- Early Childhood Education*
- English
- Mathematics*
- Public Speaking
- Sociology*
- Spanish
- Western Civilization*
*These classes are taught in both English and Spanish
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess at least a Masters Degree in the respective discipline or related field. We are seeking culturally sensitive and spiritually centered educators. Ability to communicate in Spanish is a preference but not a requirement. Since some of the students will be bilingual English/Spanish, experience in teaching second language students would be an asset. Applicant must be able to sign the Eastern University doctrinal statement and explain their Christian beliefs.
Salary:
The salary is $2,100 for 3 credit courses; $2,800 for 4 credit courses, and requires that the instructor attend three faculty development workshops during the semester.
