Esperanza College is developing a new concentration or major in the field of Community and Human Services. This new concentration will prepare students to contribute to the community in a number of ways by serving individuals with a range of social needs, by organizing the community to respond to major needs and issues collectively, and by students preparing for further study in urban studies, social work, community development and related fields. Graduates of the program could serve the community as case managers, counselors, community educators or non-profit managers.
