Esperanza College requires an experiential learning component for all of its associate degrees. This is a valuable part of an Esperanza College education as it provides students with the opportunity to put their classroom knowledge into practice in the professional world.
There will be ample opportunity for accounting and finance field experience for the degree candidates. These opportunities include assisting in payroll, general ledger entries, income tax preparation and a host of other jobs. The field experience requirement will be tied to the course in General Income taxation and will not be done for monetary compensation. Rather, as class credit, students can expect to gain invaluable experience, connections, and an understanding of the workings of the field.
