The Associate of Science with a concentration in Science provides a strong foundation for further coursework towards a bachelor’s degree. Upon completing their associate’s degree at Esperanza College, students can continue working towards a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution. The exact number of credits transferred is determined by each receiving institution, but those who choose to continue within Eastern University can do so without missing a beat: the two years of undergraduate work along with the initial prerequisites of the program will be counted toward the degree without loss of credits.
Esperanza College graduates can continue in science-related programs within Eastern University through a BS in Biology or in Chemistry.
Students may decide to pursue a bachelor’s degree or above in specialized areas such as biostatistics, environmental science, forensic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, allied health (medicine, radiology, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, etc.), and more.
