Esperanza College Minorities in Health Sciences Symposium:
We are very excited to bring our Minorities in Health Sciences Symposium back to in-person. The event will take place on Friday October 14th from 8:30 am- 2:00 pm at Esperanza.The event will consist of speakers in the morning, break-out panel discussions about being a health professional/scientist/graduate, medical or nursing student, and hands-on activities. High school students will have the opportunity to extract their own DNA, help with a dissection of a fetal pig, heart, or brain, look under a microscope, learn how to do hands-only CPR, and experience our virtual dissection table.
