Esperanza College’s HOSA Team scored medals at the 45th State Leadership Conference of HOSA Future Health Professionals.

8 students and 2 advisors participated in the 45th State Leadership Conference of HOSA Future Health Professionals.  Our students joined another 1,200 students for the conference with the theme of “Dare to Create” and were inspired and challenged to grow personally and professionally.  We had a student delegate (Maria Genao), a Creative Problem-Solving Team (Axxel Castillo, Mateo Guzman, Angeliany Torres-Lamboy, Gabriella Sanchez) who won a gold medal at the Post-secondary level, and three students participating in individual events: Cierra Rosario (Cultural Diversity and Disparities in Health Care- gold), Josean Gonzalez (Medical Math- gold), Ciara Richardson (Medical Terminology- silver).
