Uncategorized
On Saturday, November 11th, 84 early childhood educators of Philadelphia joined us for the Advancing Early Childhood Education in our Communities and Beyond Conference.

These professionals learned about:
1. Infant/toddler development and curriculum for infant/toddler classrooms.
2. Supporting challenging behaviors in the classroom.
3. How to incorporate technology in the ECE classrooms.
4. How to engage the young children in science.
5. How to advocate for our minority students and their families in our classrooms.
6. The hardships the Latine community faces as a minority group in the ECE workspace.

We wish all of the educators who attended an illuminating and positive school year! Thank you, Vanguard Strong Start for Kids, for sponsoring us and First Up for providing workshop instructors. Learn about Esperanza College’s Early Childhood Education programs.
